Franklin and Bobbye had a child, Susan. For a while they all
lived in an apartment in Berlin. Franklin changed the Milk
Route from nights to mornings and in the summer of my 13th or 14 year
My dog and I would meet him in the mornings and ride the truck with him.
I would ride in back and help load the full milk cans on to the
truck on the way to Snow Hill. On the return trip I could
pretty much handle the unloading as we went from farm to farm.
He would pay me $0.50 and Aunt Bobbye would fix eggs, scrapple
and toast for breakfast.
