I born in June at the tail end of World War
II. On August 15th, 1945 Japan Surrendered. America was at
peace until June 25, 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea
and the United Nations including America came to their
defense.
Life was simple. These were the Truman and
Eisenhower years. Radio was king, television, was an
experiment and I had mother that didn't go to a job or even
drive.
